Being very much the newbie to this, I feel I should take a leaf out of Colonel Mitchell's book and shake things up.
Now I'm of the mind that anything you truly love only gets better with repeated viewing or listening or reading. I am that guy that listens to the same song on repeat for days on end. I do the same with my fandom. I still re-watch Farscape and Firefly in their entirety on a regular basis. I finish the Peacekeeper Wars, gush for a little while and then stick on the disc to watch Premiere. Or I finish Serenity and rail at the cruelty of Wash and Book getting Jossed
then put the pilot on because Mal is a very bad man.
However, I want to give my re-re-squees a slightly different treatment. I'm going to go over a scene which I wrote into one of the stories in my fanfics. I hope to shed some light on my interpretation of a particular moment or the thought process and motivation behind writing the story.
Some will only be peripherally dealing with the episode, i.e. they occur in the time frame, others will be an actual retelling of the scene, not just a tag. I don't just want to post the story and leave it at that, I want to give you a glimpse into my stupid little brain.( So, without further ado, Avalon Part 1.Collapse )
